The School Gates

We recently built and hung ‘The School Gates’!

As you may imagine it was not that simple but the end result was well worth it as you can see!

(The cantilevered gates have to align within a couple of mm to allow the sliding bolt to close between the two halves.)

It’s a round loop from Fieschertal (take the lift up from Fiesch) to Marjelensee then alongside the glacier at some height until ascending to Bettmeralp and the lifts back down to Betten Talstation.
