It’s a case of ‘waste not want not’ in this part of the world and this wedding present was cracked in the shipping container on its way out here. The handle had snapped off also. After cast iron welding it’s working fine now on the double gas burners (meaning it gets hot).

The deal is the contractor does all the work and takes half of the output (planks) with the other half going to the land owner. Waiting to see how this turns out!
